Welcome to our February newsletter! This month, we’re focusing on wellness days in Occupational Health.

Wellness Days and Awareness Campaigns

February is packed with opportunities to prioritise your health and well-being. Here are some key wellness days to be aware of:

British Heart Month

Every February the UK marks National Heart Month. It’s a campaign that raises awareness of a variety of health conditions directly related to cardiovascular disease and promotes healthy living measures such as diet and exercise that can lower risks.

If you can, get your blood pressure checked, make heart-healthy food choices, and incorporate regular physical activity into your routine to support cardiovascular health. Learn more about heart health here British Heart Month

Please contact LS Occupational Health for affordable blood pressure checks for your employees.

  • Time to Talk Day (6th February): This day encourages meaningful conversations about mental health to break the stigma and foster understanding. Whether it’s a chat with a friend, colleague, or family member, talking can make a big difference. Learn how to start the conversation here Time To Talk
